11th Annual Back To Nature Festival celebrated throughout South Walton Oct 18-21

The South Walton Community Council is hosting their 11th Annual Back To Nature Festival October 18-21, 2012. With five events to choose from, there is something for everyone to explore at our annual festival. The Back to Nature Festival offers the opportunity for visitors and locals alike to discover the wonders of our unique coastal environment.

Schedule:
Artists Reception for Scenes of South Walton Art Show: Thursday, Oct 18 @ Hidden Lantern Gallery in Rosemary Beach. 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. The artshow will feature art inspired by our magnificent Florida coastal landscape. A portion of the proceeds will benefit SWCC. So add to your art collection and support the local organization that gives Nature a Voice! Free. Show ends Nov 4, 2012.

Opening Night Party: Friday, Oct 19 @ Grayt Coffee House. 6 pm – 9 pm. Live music of Forrest Williams & Friends, food provided by Grayton Beach Catering, and loads of family fun! Bring your own drinks and chairs & join the party! Cost: $15.

Celebrate Nature at Seaside: Saturday, Oct 20th Noon – 4:30 pm @ the Seaside Amphitheater. A celebration of nature & community, this event has something for all ages. Live music, green business displays, nature exhibits & kids arts and crafts. Bring your blanket or lawn chairs & join the celebration! Free.

Silent Auction Saturday: Oct 20th @ the Seaside Amphitheater. Noon – 5 pm. Art, jewelry, wine and much more! Proceeds benefit SWCC. Come out and show us you care! Free.

Outdoor Adventures: Saturday & Sunday, Oct 20 – 21st throughout Walton County. Our classic adventures include hiking, biking, boating, kayaking, riding and astronomy. Cost: Varies by adventure. See the complete schedule of adventures and register by going to www.SouthWaltonCC.org.
