Triggerfish, white and vermillion snapper in the Gulf, speckled trout in the Bay

Salt:  Catching vermillion snapper, triggerfish, white snapper. Catching a lot of red snapper, but have to throw ’em back. Looking forward to gag grouper season September 16 through November 15, 2011

Bay: Speckled trout EARLY in the a.m. Catching on Mirrodine and Spooks lures.  Some redfish and flounder.

River: Folks headed out to the river are catching catfish.
