Airplane rides, hot air balloons and fun for the entire family planned

The Walton Area Chamber of Commerce teams up with the City of DeFuniak Springs to produce our second annual fly-in/aviation festival, “Marvel of Flight” on Saturday, May 19, 2012, 7 a.m. – 1  p.m. at DeFuniak Springs Municipal Airport.

Following the huge success of last year, this year promises to enthrall the crowds. The array of events include a fly-in for area pilots, hot air balloon rides, bi-plane rides, and helicopter rides; a radio-controlled air show, classic cars on display, static aircraft displays, live music, children’s activities and great food. Kiwanis Club will be serving up their famous pancakes, and the Rotary Club will be offering luncheon fare including their ever-popular nachos. The Walton High School AFJROTC will present colors at the opening ceremonies.
