Red Bay Grocery and Nick’s Seafood Restaurant hosting annual event

Hunting may begin at safe daylight on Saturday, November 20, 2010. Tournament ends at 12 Noon Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Red Bay Grocery.
Any contestant not checked in with the tournament director by 12 pm will be disqualified. Entry fee is non refundable.
Scoring: Up to ten (10) squirrels will be scored on a points system for each division.
Rimfire: .22 or .17 caliber only. Up to ten (10) squirrels scored. Each squirrel is worth three (3) points, with bonus points awarded as follows: One (1) bonus point for each head shot, and one (1) bonus point for each boar (squirrel with nuts). Total may not exceed 5 points per squirrel or fifty (50) points total. Squirrel may only be shot once (in the head) to be eligible for head shot bonus points.
Shotgun: up to ten (10) squirrels scored. Each Squirrel is worth three (3) points. One (1) bonus point will be awarded for each boar. Total may not exceed four (4) points per squirrel or forty (40) points total.
Tie Breaker: In the event of a tie in either division, the hunter with the most total head shots wins. If tie remains, the hunter with the most boar squirrels wins. If tie still remains, the hunter with the earliest official scoring time wins.
Payback: Total entry Fees for each division (minus tournament expenses) split among top five (5) places as follows: 1st – 50%, 2nd – 20%, 3rd – 15%, 4th – 10%, 5th – 5% Tournament directors will be Trey Nick and Katie Barrineau. Decision of tournament director is final. Tournament director has authority to disqualify a squirrel and/or hunter for any reason deemed necessary to promote a fair and safe tournament. All hunters must posses a valid Florida Small Game Hunting License. Awards lunch will be held immediately after tournament ends at 12 pm at Red Bay Grocery. All Registered hunters get a free plate!
