Learn all about camellias

Eden Gardens State Park and the Friends of Eden Gardens would like to invite everyone to the annual Camellia and Art Fest on Saturday, Febuary 23, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Festivities begin with talks being given on Camellia identification, air layering (propagation), and the general maintenance and pest control of Camellias. Camellias, air layered from Eden plants, will be available from the nursery.
Russ Barley of “Emerald Coast Flowers and Gifts” will do a floral arrangement demonstration using Camellias at 10:30am, presentations by Ft. Walton Camellia Society 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., camellia waxing at 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and air-layering 10:15 a.m., and 1:30 p.m.
This community event is free with free admission to the State Park – donations made to the Friends of Eden will be appreciated.
Donations to the Friends of Eden will be accepted. There will be no additional fees for the event.
