Free hunter safety Internet-completion course offered in Holmes County Aug. 8-9

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) is offering a free hunter safety Internet-completion course in Holmes County. The course takes place at the First Baptist Church, 311 N. Waukesha St. in Bonifay. Instruction is from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 8, and 8 a.m. until noon Aug. 9. Former Red Bay resident shares family history, photos of Lost Lake

Area along the Choctawhatchee River boasts long history of outdoor recreation, logging Former Walton County resident DeWayne Ray has fond memories of fishing and hunting around the Red Bay area of Walton County.
